Skardu
Skardu is situated in Gilgit Baltistan and capital of Skardu valley. It is located at the confluence of Shigar river and Indus river. Skardu is also the gateway to the great Karakoram range with the 2nd highest mountain k2 and above than eight thousand peaks of the Karakoram range. This city is also loved by foreigners who came here for expeditions, trek, hike and summit the highest peaks who came here every year in the count of thousands.

Lower Kachura Lake is also known as Shangrila Resort. Lower Kachura lake is situated in kachura village at the height of 2500 meters. The resorts were built in 1983 with this lake. It gives the shape of the heart from height and looks too beautiful. There are also VIP rooms for travellers. Shangri la is a Tibetan word meaning heaven on the earth.
Shigar Fort
Shigar fort is the old fort of shigar valley it is also known as fort on rock because
Shigar fort is surrounded by gigantic shaped rocks. It was built by Raja of Amacha dynasty of shigar. The old fort was renovated by Agha khan historic cities programme. It is now known as a museum and a luxury hotel serena hotel. The renovation is started in 1999 and ends in 2004 which take 5 years process
Cold Desert
Cold desert, also named as katpana near sakdu, is located at an altitude of 2,226 meters desert.it is known as highest desert in the world. There are large dunes of sand and its colour is white and it is full of snow in winters. It is also famous for the jeep rally held in september.
Khaplu
Khaplu is the administrative capital of Ghanche, Gilgit Baltistan in Northern
Pakistan. Khaplu is also the gateway towards highest peaks like Meshebrum, K6 and K7. There is a Chaqchan mosque which was founded 400 years later by Syed Ali Hammadani who is also the first preacher in the area.
Khaplu Fort
There is a khaplu fort which is considered as a historical heritage. It was built in 1840 by Yabgo Dault Khan Ali Khan of Khaplu which was renovated by Agha Khan Trust of culture in 2005 to 2011. U can see the beautiful ghanche village from the fort. There is a museum with the things which were used in old times by kings and their servants.
Satpara lake
Satpara lake is located in Satpara village. This is a natural lake which has clear water. It is situated at an elevation of 2,636 meters and has a circumference of 2.5 km. This lake provides water to Skardu city. There is also a dam on this lake named as Satpara dam.
Deosai
The Deosai name means land under the shadow of a giant. It is also known as the rooftop of the world. It is at the highest altitude of 1,440 above sea level. It is spread in the area 843 square kilometers. There are different animals like ibex, markhor, snow leopard and brown bears in winters. There are camping points. Which are tourists enjoyed a lot and saw milky way in night
Sheosar Lake
Sheosasr lake is located in the end of Deosai and it also adjacent to skardu and astore which is the highest lake in the world around 14 thousand meters above from sea level
